SalaryMowery Clinic is seeking a full time Credit & Collections Clerk to join our team. This position will work in the business office and is primarily responsible for answering patient questions regarding account balances, processing payments, counseling and assisting patients to resolve account balances including setting up payment plans, reviewing past due accounts and sending out past due notices, and assisting offices within the clinic with their questions.
Qualified applicants must have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Must be able to prioritize workload and manage their time effectively. Requires the ability to communicate effectively with patients in person or over the phone in a professional and courteous manner. Customer service skills are a must. Previous medical experience and 10-key experience is preferred.
