Job Description
This individual will diligently research, validate, and manage crucial customer application and credit data to ensure prompt and accurate processing, assessment and decision-making for customer credit applications. Attention to detail and organizational skills are paramount, as this role is integral to the credit review process and appropriate credit decisions. Cultivating partnerships with internal sales and funding teams is essential. Assigned tasks will often present moderate challenges, necessitating patience, diligence, sound judgment and effective decision-making abilities. To be successful in this role, you must have both strong data skills/analytical acumen and excellent verbal and written communications skills as these are required to effectively present and convey logic as part of a cross functional team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage and update Salesforce.com CRM system, ensuring seamless data flow and comprehensive data/notes associated with applicants/clients.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues including Processors, Senior Analysts, VPs of Underwriting and Sales enriching your knowledge and expertise.
- Arrive at appropriate risk management levels through meticulous cash flow analyses and comprehensive credit data evaluations.
- Identify and size opportunities by assessing credit strength, analyzing financials, reviewing corporate structures and other credit/corporate parameters .
- Conduct thorough due diligence, examining financial statements, credit profiles, tax returns, and compliance validation for cannabis business applicants.
- Uphold the highest standards of compliance and policy adherence, fostering trust and reliability with both our company and bank partners.
- Contribute to seamless collaboration across internal departments, ensuring smooth transaction closures and effective communication.
- Engage with prospective and existing clients, verifying information and building lasting professional relationships.
Education and Experience
· Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Business, Finance, or a related field;
· or a minimum of 3+ Years of experience in a related role within the financial services sector including underwriting or credit analysis.

- Proficiency in financial analysis, with the ability to interpret financial statements and tax returns to drive informed decision-making.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills, enabling you to make sound decisions within defined parameters.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, where your adaptability and resilience shine.
- Stellar communication skills, both verbal and written, essential for building rapport with internal stakeholders.
- Maintain confidentiality and exercise solid judgment in all tasks, contributing to a culture of trust and integrity.
- Proven time management and organizational skills, adept at multitasking and prioritizing effectively.

- Experience with Salesforce.com, our system of record.
