In this entry level role, you will gain an understanding of JHHC's credentialing policies and procedures as well as accreditation and regulatory requirements related to managed care.
What you'll do:
- Process all initial and re-credentialing applications for Johns Hopkins HealthCare LLC in accordance with established policies and procedures, and accreditation and regulatory requirements.
- Manage specialized databases, production reports, and automated support systems.
- Consistently meet production goals and quality review standards for credentialing processing and data entry on a monthly basis.
What you'll bring:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field is preferred.
- CPCS preferred but not required
- 1+ years' in healthcare office procedures is required
- Experience in and understanding of credentialing services preferred.
