Who you are:
As a Credentialing Specialist for Johns Hopkins HealthCare, you are the go-to for all administrative duties required in the credentialing verification process. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills make you a great team player. You have superior organizational skills that allow you to self-manage your workload. In this entry level role, you will gain an understanding of JHHC's credentialing policies and procedures as well as accreditation and regulatory requirements related to managed care.
What you'll do:
  • Process all initial and re-credentialing applications for Johns Hopkins HealthCare LLC in accordance with established policies and procedures, and accreditation and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage specialized databases, production reports, and automated support systems.
  • Consistently meet production goals and quality review standards for credentialing processing and data entry on a monthly basis.

What you'll bring:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
    • Bachelor's degree in business or related field is preferred.
  • CPCS preferred but not required
  • 1+ years' in healthcare office procedures is required
    • Experience in and understanding of credentialing services preferred.

Above average PC skills, including spreadsheets, databases, and scanners.
