The Resource Training and Christopher’s Reason an 822-outpatient clinic, is seeking a credentialed alcohol and substance abuse counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be familiar with the criminal justice system, reporting, eCr 10e11, assessments, facilitating groups and case management. We are looking to hire a seasoned counselor with familiarity and experience in the addiction field. The ideal candidate will be bi-lingual (Spanish), professional, empathetic and passionate about helping those we serve. We are seeking an independent and self-motivated counselor who will be able to hit the floor running. Please provide certificates and references along with your resume. Only credentialed counselors, bilingual (Spanish) will be considered for this position. The salary is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of individuals and complete required documentation.
- Complete intakes and assessments for potential clients.
- Groups planned, delivered, and documented in a timely and effective manner meeting the client's person-centered goals for treatment.
- Ability to work effectively with complex patients, both independently and collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team.
- Holds and maintains required certification(s) and completes required continuing education.
- Attend weekly case conferences and supervision.
- Maintains timely, accurate, and appropriate documentation.
Qualifications:
- CASAC, Credentialed Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor.
- CASAC-T, Credentialed Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor Trainee.
- Bilingual (Spanish).
- Well-versed in substance use disorder.
- Maintain excellent punctuality and dependability skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills both verbal and written.
