Position Summary:
Studio 71 seeks a music-centric Talent Coordinator for two talent executives representing an array of top tier and developing digital music talent. This role is for a high potential, right hand with top notch communication and organization skills to keep highly active managers on track as they secure opportunities for their clients. Job responsibilities include music asset management and ingestion, YouTube channel optimization, talent prospecting and pitching, and IP development.
What You’ll Get To Do:
- Analyze in-network music talent to identify areas for increased opportunity
- Manage, organize, and ingest music assets for in-network music talent
- Research and report on current music and content trends
- Prospect new music talent and shadow pitch calls with talent, managers, and agents
- Assist in music distribution opportunities alongside manager – ensuring the completion of marketing campaigns and performance reporting
- Schedule for managers and top-level music talent
- Maintain grids and company databases to keep track of deals and payment statuses
- Help strategize new ways to collaborate on projects cross-departmentally
About You:
- Passionate music enthusiast with knowledge of the digital space (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, and Facebook)
- In-depth knowledge of music across all genres, music copyright, music distribution and industry as a whole
- This role will have a heavy focus in understanding and expanding S71’s rights management portfolio. Candidates possessing knowledge of music rights management is not required, but strongly preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Great research, organizational, and decision-making skills with added attention to details and deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

- Minimum one year talent agency experience
- BA/BS degree from an accredited university
- Must demonstrate a passion for digital media, entertainment and music
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively work in a fast-paced environment with both creative- and business-oriented colleagues and partners
