Creative/Video Specialist

Simpli.fi is currently looking for a highly qualified and motivated Creative/Video Specialist for its Marketing Team located in Fort Worth, Texas. A successful candidate should have experience with photography, videography, editing, motion graphics, and pre/post-production management (in-house or agency). Secondary activities include (but are not limited to): developing presentation and sales enablement materials to fit within our brand standards, and supporting other members of the marketing team. 

You will be an integral part of the fast paced and nimble marketing team with the ability to have a strong influence on their roles and the overall team's success. 

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

• Work includes creating high-quality video content consistent with the brands mission and strategic goals.
• Record video and sound projects, including selecting program format for final output, capturing/importing media, organizing raw media, editing footage and sound files, creating and inserting static and motion graphics, titling, adding music/voice-over/sfx, media management and archiving project media
• Oversee the filming, editing, and publishing of video content across platforms, including Vimeo, YouTube, Facebook, X and IGTV. Videos will vary in complexity, from promotional format, vlog, educational, interview style, and animated motion graphics
• Collaborate closely with internal staff and stakeholders to help facilitate the creation of multimedia content to bring stories to life and generate social, editorial, long-form video content
• Work closely with talent to schedule and prep shoots
• Possible travel and setup equipment for filming on location

YOU'LL HAVE THE FOLLOWING TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:

• Completion of coursework in photography, videography, and motion graphics at a university, college, or vocational school and 1-2 years of photography/video/motion graphics experience in a corporate or agency setting
• Advanced Adobe Premiere and After Effect experience is mandatory
• Advanced technical and creative knowledge in DSLR and Digital Cinema camera operation
• Advanced technical knowledge in video and audio capture
• Advanced technical and creative knowledge in environmental and studio lighting techniques
• Research and remain current on the developments and applications of state-of-the-art video
• Portfolio of work samples are required at interview stage
• Proficient in the Adobe creative suite; Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop

NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT REQUIRED:

• Basic web development knowledge: HTML5 and CSS
• Experience multimedia platforms and AI video building platforms
