Creative Support and Social Media Specialist - Remote Part-time

We are looking for a part-time, work-from-home Creative Support Specialist contractor (1099) in the U.S. to primarily manage our Social Media while supporting the team with other specific technical and administrative tasks. The number of hours will start out between 10-20 hours per week but could grow to additional hours depending on need. Below are details of what we are looking for:

What will you focus on?

Social Media Management:

• Create and schedule engaging Social Media posts (primarily on LinkedIn).
• Maintain a content schedule, including writing copy, creating graphics, and generating ideas for increased engagement.
• Utilize Social Media analytics, algorithms, and SEO strategies for optimal post-performance.

Design & Video:

• Develop basic graphics and designs for Social Media.
• Support video editing for new and rebranded content, using tools like Canva or other preferred software.

Blog & Email Management:

• Set up and manage previously written blog posts and email content in HubSpot.
• Maintain an overall content schedule to ensure consistency and relevance.

Administrative tasks:

• Assist with administrative duties, including setting up meetings, data entry, and other tasks as needed.

What Skills & Tool Knowledge do you need?
Must Have: 

• Social Media Expertise: Minimum one year of experience managing Social Media for a business, with a focus on LinkedIn.
• Creativity! We need someone who can be given direction and use their imagination to create with autonomy.

Preferred: 

• Graphic Design: Basic design skills- you will need to send a portfolio of examples.  This is trainable for the right creative individual.
• Video Editing: Basic to intermediate skills in video editing, preferably using Canva or similar tools.
• HubSpot (Marketing Pro Hub emphasis): Leveraged for Social Media posting and analytics and other marketing campaign elements (emails, blog posts, website, etc.). Knowledge of using HubSpot Marketing Hub is preferred.
• Canva (Pro Version): Proficiency in Canva or similar software for designing Social Media graphics, marketing materials, and videos.
• YouTube: Experience uploading and managing channel content.
• Agile Industry knowledge: General knowledge of software development and/or Agile and Scrum is a plus.
