Creative Fiction Writer/Ghostwriter

Rayhawk Corporation seeks an exceptional Ghostwriter to compose an adventure-comedy novel teeming with (1) INTRICATELY CHOREOGRAPHED AND CINEMATIC ACTION SEQUENCES that boast high readability scores, and (2) ROBUST COMEDIC ENTERTAINMENT. This freelance role demands a rare fusion of creativity, wit, and flexibility to forge captivating narratives with original content. The ideal candidate will masterfully assume the author's voice and style, crafting content that enthralls the everyday reader with elaborate and humor-infused action scenes.

Position: Creative Fiction Ghostwriter [Independent Contractor engaged on a project-by-project basis to create work made for hire intellectual property]

Project Focus: Operating as a Ghostwriter to compose an adventure comedy novel for an adult audience.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive ghostwriting services, including cinematic concept development, to craft an engaging synopsis and final draft written content.
• Develop and pen chapters that captivate an adult audience with rich cinematic action sequences that maintain high readability and are accessible to the average reader.
• Infuse action sequences with a robust dose of humor that elicits hearty laughter from readers.
• Collaborate in the vivid creation of characters and storylines, integrating feedback from creative sessions.
• Write with versatility across various styles, tones, and formats, aligning with our brand’s voice and strategic objectives.
• Adhere to stringent deadlines while upholding high standards of quality.
• Engage actively in creative meetings, presenting your work, assimilating feedback, and adjusting to creative direction.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Must be a US citizen residing within the country, preferably in Southern California, for occasional in-person collaborations with our team of writers based in Orange County and Riverside County.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in creative writing, particularly in storytelling or novel writing, is required.
• Demonstrated exceptional ability to manage multiple projects, with a proactive and innovative mindset.
• Strong collaborative skills, with a receptiveness to constructive criticism and feedback.
• Profound grasp of crafting action sequences with a substantial infusion of humor.
• Rigorous attention to detail, especially concerning world-building, narrative continuity, and the integrity of characters and settings.
