The Salesforce Cross Cloud Creative team is looking for a copywriter to drive extraordinary content for 360 campaigns, emails, banners, web and digital content, YouTube series, demos and even Dreamforce. This is a high-profile position that will work closely with various teams across Marketing and Product to produce content that educates and entertains the Salesforce audience.

The ideal candidate will have a long and short form writing background with experience writing for YouTube series, be a creative problem solver, a skilled communicator, and a brilliant storyteller with experience at the highest levels of content creation, and the editorial and technical know-how to lead a project from pitch to production, launch to promotion.

Agency and in house experience is a must. The ability to write a phenomenal headline is a must. Then write one again, and again, and again. Then write a killer brand story. Looking for someone who’s able to build with energy and passion. Must be imaginative, intuitive, and understand the mechanics of all deliverables. Must be able to write both visionary and nuts-and-bolts, understand the tech industry and our audience. Must be able to work autonomously, roll with the punches, critically look at the creative as a whole, and build a cohesive and compelling story while keeping a keen eye on detail and accuracy.


You must be able to:
Build and encourage work that meets strategic marketing objectives and clear point of view that aligns to the Salesforce brand
Promote collaboration between the client and the creative department
Develop, produce, and lead well-thought-out presentations that tell the story of the design solution
Constantly question the limitations by promoting dynamic thinking and innovation
Lead and mentor junior creative staff through critique of their work to maintain quality and consistency
Understand the business and industry of our internal clients and external customers
Be able to work with external vendors/freelancers to provide clear creative direction and timely/conducive feedback to improve creative processes
Prioritize work and resources across engagements based on short and long-term needs

Skills and experience:
7+ years of copywriting experience at an agency or in house.
A strong command of storytelling and storytelling techniques that keeps business value and customer outcomes top of mind.
A compelling portfolio of original work that’s both conceptual and results-driven
Outstanding written and oral communication skills
Strong attention to detail and eagerness to push the boundaries
Knowledge in Keynote/PowerPoint/Google slides required
A Bachelor’s degree

For Colorado-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $91,000 to $125,200.

For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $100,100 to $137,600.

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
