Who Are You?
You’re a highly motivated people manager with top-performing Call Center experience. You can help build our team and insure each team member is performing to a clear set of metrics including 1) Number of outbound communications, 2) Number of vehicle appraisals, 3) Number of appointments set, 4) number of appointments showed, and 5) Number of purchases completed.
Not only that but you can help coach and train new reps when we have a need for them, keep motivation levels high, and maintain a safe and open environment where team members feel empowered to learn, make mistakes and thrive. You're capable of receiving and delivering critiques when needed to help the team constantly improve.
Your team will contact leads following a meticulously-scripted talk track, quickly analyze data on the fly, and can work at a fast pace. You'll also be handling face-to-face transactions with the customers your team is contacting.
Your 'superpower' is your ability to 'lead from the front' while maintaining an upbeat demeanor, even when you have a curve ball thrown your way. VEHICLE BUYING CALL CENTER MANAGER
The Vehicle Buying Call Center Manager is responsible for overall management of our vehicle acquisition team. You will first master the job of an Acquisition Manager, and then go on to help us add new team members who will make outbound prospecting calls, answer inbound calls, and follow up on the leads that come in from lead sources such as Private Party Listings and Kelly Blue Book Instant Cash offers.

RESPONSIBLE TO LEARN
- The use of our CRM, to communicate, follow up, and track interactions with our clients.
- The use of our Appraisal Tool to assess the values of vehicles. (Don't worry, NO industry experience is necessary - we'll train you!
- The use of Buy Center Word-Tracks for inbound and outbound telephone conversations.
RESPONSIBLE TO DO
- Reach out to warm prospects by “Call-Call-Text-Email” (and manage other team members doing so).
- Set appointments with proper value range and expectation (and manage other team members doing so).
- Facilitate the smooth operation of the Buy Center by greeting customers coming into the Buy Center and helping maintain the drive. We follow the “10 Foot Rule” in the Buy Center, meaning that we greet everyone that passes within 10 feet of us whether customer or coworker.
- Insure the Acquisition Team meets it's monthly target number of vehicles purchases.
- Attend quarterly team dinner meetings at owner's house, provide input to help improve operations
- Work to come to agreement with the clients and purchase their vehicle for Northside, always maintaining a “Project 100” mindset.
- Complete all required DMV paperwork for the purchase of the vehicle, and vehicle payoff if required.
- Accurately maintain the purchase and tracking logs to reflect purchases.
- Make sure “Happy Car Seller” photos after the purchase and forwarded to the marketing team.
Here Are The Preferred Skills & Attributes...
- At least 5-10 years combined Call Center experience with supervisory / management experience (more preferred)
- Outstanding verbal and written communication is a must. (You'll be communicating all day long)
- Mathematical and Critical Thinking skills
- Strong emotional intelligence
- High school diploma required. College degree preferred but not necessary
- Demonstrated experience in following clear processes / procedures
- Must be able to type 30 WPM with 95% accuracy. Must possess basic computer and internet skills
- Strong, consistent work ethic, positive attitude and ability to work well with others
- Fluency in Spanish is a plus but not required No auto dealership experience is required
