Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain cranes in a safe and efficient manner
- Lift, move, and position heavy loads using the crane
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating the crane
- Inspect and maintain the crane equipment regularly
- Communicate with team members to ensure smooth operations
- Adhere to project timelines and deadlines
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating cranes or heavy equipment is required
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required
- Knowledge of warehouse operations, shipping, and receiving processes
- Ability to operate boom trucks, rig cranes, dig cranes, and build cranes
- Familiarity with forklift operation is a plus
-Valid State of Connecticut Crane Operators License
Skills:
- Proficient in operating various types of cranes. Boom Trucks, All Terrain
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and protocols
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and depth perception
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Good communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members
