A steel processing company on the Northeast side of San Antonio is looking for Production Crane Operator to join their team! Responsibilities:
- Heavy equipment operator: Overhead crane.
- Starts machine, engages feed, and observes operation.
- Inspects and measures slit coil widths and thickness to verify conformance to specifications.
- Operate sit-down forklift.
- Other job-related duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Pass drug test and background check.
- Must have at least 2 years of Crane Operator experience.
- Must be able to move and lift wooden skids weighing 20-60 lbs throughout shift. Some skids are 5’ to 6’ tall.
- At least 2 years of Sit-down forklift experience a plus.
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures
- Must have steel toe shoes.
- Must be able to train during 1st shift 6 am to 2 pm
- Must have long tenure employment history
Schedule:
- 3rd Shift:10pm – 6:15am (must be able to work overtime and weekends when needed)
- Sunday-Thursday
Pay Rate:
- $18 /hour
