Cranberry Marsh Laborer

We are searching for a couple of employees that are capable of completing a variety of tasks to maintain the Cranberry Marshes. Some of these include basic labor jobs, both agricultural and construction equipment operation, equipment maintenance, welding, and fabrication. Experience in any of these areas is preferred but we are willing to train any qualified applicant. A qualified applicant is a quality-focused person who takes pride in their work, enjoys learning new things and wants to keep improving themselves. They are detail-oriented and organized. Ability to follow instructions and ask questions for clarity and/or uncertainty. Works well with others and is self-motivated to efficiently work on their own. Will occasionally need to lift 50lbs repeatedly. A typical work week is 40 hours. Additional hours will be required during harvest. Maybe other seasonal hour changes. Inside and outside working environments. Will need to be prepared to work in all weather conditions. Wage is based on experience. Paid vacation and holiday time off are included. A great career for someone who likes variety in their work environment.

$17 - $25 hourly

• Provide preventive maintenance work like replacing brake pads, adjusting fluids, rotating tires, completing oil changes, and servicing the air conditioning
• Engaging in learning opportunities to update job knowledge and technical skills
• Remedy mechanical problems and malfunction codes that are identified in the vehicle's electrical system, mechanical systems, and electronic systems

• Ability to operate farm and construction equipment safely.
• Maintain and service farm and construction equipment as needed.
• Irrigate and fertilize crops.
• Basic farm labor jobs.
• Lift 50 lbs repeatedly at times.
• Efficiently work both alone and with others.

• Valid driver’s license needed
• Experience and manual dexterity using hand tools and other equipment is needed
• Preferred education is an associate’s degree from a technical school or relevant automotive program and/or ASE certification
• Must be an effective communicator who maintains a solid work ethic
• High school diploma or GED equivalent necessary

• Cranberry or farm experience is a plus.
