We are seeking a dedicated and talented individual to join our team as a Workshop Assistant. The ideal candidate will be pivotal in the creation and shipping of our beautiful masquerade masks, ensuring every product meets our quality standards & attention to detail. This role is integral to our operation and the chosen candidate will play a key role in the growth and success of our brand.
Key Responsibilities:
Crafting & Designing:
- Crafting feather designs on masks, fascinators
- Painting masks.
- Embellishing masks, including the application of rhinestones.
- Create new product designs.
Shipping & Handling:
- Print shipping labels, ensuring accurate order details.
- Efficiently pack finished masks, ensuring no damages and checking for quality.
Client Communication:
- Engage with clients on custom orders, ensuring approval before shipping.
Inventory Management:
- Keep a detailed account of inventory, notifying the owner for reorders.
- Restock shelves upon the arrival of new shipments and manage recycling tasks.
Workplace Maintenance:
- Ensure a clean and organized workspace, attending to all areas such as paint, inventory, and restroom.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- The ability to make swift decisions while having a sharp eye for design/color detail
- Completing tasks quickly and efficiently without mistakes.
- A keen eye for spotting order mistakes during the order processing & final product packing.
- Experience or comfort working with hot glue and crafting materials.
- Proficiency in MS Office as well as content creation abilities are a significant advantage.
- Strong verbal skills, with the ability to communicate, respond, and follow up independently with clients.
- A team player attitude, combined with the drive to be proactive and a self-starter.
- Comfort and adaptability in a startup environment, with the ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.
- Exceptional organizational skills and a commitment to maintaining a clean and efficient workspace.
Compensation: The hours and subsequent pay will be determined by the skills such as efficiency, error free execution, quickness & accuracy of work completed, leadership skills and natural talents you bring to the business growth. A proactive approach, ownership, and dedication to the business's success will ensure growth in your role.
