Craft Brewery Assistant

Like America's great pastime, Texas Leaguer Brewing (est. 2017) helps people enjoy life and good times through our passion to craft great beer for everyone to experience and enjoy. As an independent brewery, TXL is dedicated to brewing with integrity. We use high quality ingredients to deliver brews that cultivate fans, and we hustle it out every day to keep them in the stands.

We are seeking a Brewery Assistant to join our team. This position is typically Monday through Friday and 30-40 hours/week

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Safely deliver and collect kegs, cans, and promotional material to our retail accounts throughout Fort Bend County using the company truck and accurately collecting payment from customers
• Service and clean draught lines, take accurate inventory, and complete documentation per Company policy
• Maintain a Company supplied tool box with all supplies necessary to complete jobs
• Safely able to drive assigned company vehicle
• Maintain the highest level of customer service and brand representation with all accounts, vendors and customers
• Assist on the canning line to meet packaging needs
• Washing and maintaining all kegs at least bi-weekly
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized working environment
• Complete other tasks as assigned
• Represent Texas Leaguer Brewing Company to the highest standards at all times

Qualifications:

• 21+ years of age
• Valid Texas Driver’s License and clean driving record
• Passion for craft beer, eagerness to learn, and desire to be a part of a team
• Positive attitude is a requirement as is the ability to adapt to change
• Strong mechanical and technical ability with basic understanding of electrical, plumbing and refrigeration
• Physical strength, flexibility and stamina required to work in a physically demanding environment
• Ability to take direction and work independently with a strong attention to detail and quality while multitasking and prioritizing work duties in a time efficient manner
• Strong critical thinking and problem solving aptitude
• Ability to reliably report to work on time and as scheduled
• Regularly lift 55-160 pounds
• Experience with Ekos a plus, but not required
