Tavour is an online Craft Beer retailer in Seattle, WA seeking a dedicated and creative Content Writer and Product Photographer to add to our highly collaborative team. You will work in a fast-paced, deadline driven role to hone in on customers’ needs and find innovative ways to expand the conversation around independent Craft Beer.

Main Responsibilities:

As Content Writer and Product Photographer, you will curate 5-10 beer write-ups per week (to start). You will be responsible for researching, writing, and editing these write-ups. Duties also include cataloging product specifications, verifying tasting notes, corresponding with breweries, and additional support as needed. In addition, you will be photographing 5-15 beers on any given day.

Qualifications:

- Experience in copywriting or journalism and photography preferred (we can train on photos)

- Background in editing and copy editing

- Demonstrated storytelling and creative writing skills

- Excellent command of grammar

- Strong communication skills

- Ability to quickly execute customer-facing product narratives (2 or more 200 word write-ups per 4 hours worked)

- Ability to articulate core messaging and objectives behind every writeup

- Willingness to incorporate feedback from editor and other team members in a workshop or one-on-one setting

- A desire to expand into video content and social media work is a major benefit

- Exhibits knowledge and curiosity around Tavour and the Craft Beer industry

- Meticulous attention to detail

- Interest and focus on analytics

- Able to work independently with minimal supervision

- Incredibly adaptable to change and resourceful in dealing with obstacles that may arise

- Excels under multiple deadlines

- High degree of ownership on all projects

- Willing to take on additional responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications:

- Top candidates will have experience working in the Craft Beer industry

- Product photography experience

- Cicerone certified

- Video experience

- Social Media expertise
