Courtesy Patrol Officer (Part-Time)

Evergreen Real Estate Group is looking to hire a part-time Courtesy Patrol Officer at Linden House of Gary in Gary, IN!

Summary:

This position is primarily responsible for securing and monitoring the building common areas; documenting all guests entering or exiting the facility; and responding to building emergencies, as required in the Emergency Plan.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Reports all building and/or tenant related emergencies and security breaches to appropriate parties, i.e. Fire Department, Paramedics, Police, and Property Manager.
• Documents and reports all tenant issues that occur during shift to the building management office.
• Documents all activity, rounds and emergency contacts on security log.
• Performs building tours (rounds) according to schedule and document on security log.
• Monitors entry and exit from the facility and require all guests to sign-in and sign-out, as well as show personal picture identification in accordance with Courtesy Patrol Handbook policy.
• Ensures physical security of building by verifying all exterior and interior service doors are closed and locked.
• Completes Security Log Report and Emergency Log and submit to management in accordance with Courtesy Patrol Handbook policy/procedure.
