Courtesy Gatehouse Attendant (Part Time Weekends)

We are looking to hire 1 Part TimeCourtesy Gatehouse Attendant .

The shifts we are looking to cover are Saturday 2pm-10pm and Sunday 2pm to 10pm. There is also the possibility of shifts during the week covering when people are on vacation or sick but it would be sporadic and not the norm.

This is a very simple job. The basic job description is below but the general gist is that you call a resident when a guest arrives to get the ok and then let the guest in. You keep a log of guests. You help people who have been locked out. Eyeball a maintenance problem so the technician knows what they are coming in to. For the most part you are sitting there. There is a tv in there and you are free to bring a book or whatever keeps you entertained.

Basic Responsibilities:

• Greet all residents, future residents, and internal team members in a professional and consistently positive manner.
• Keep a high level of service in mind with every task while resolving conflict to benefit all concerned parties.
• Promote positive resident relations.
• Respect the boundaries of confidentiality, fair housing, laws and safety.

Basic Duties:

• Follow standard gatehouse procedures.
• Orient oneself with the property and surroundings.
• Answer telephone and provide exceptional service.
• Keep proper logs of visitors.
• Call residents to gain guest approval.
• Accept maintenance requests.
• Respond to minor maintenance issues (plunge toilet, flip breaker, etc...)
• Assist people who have been locked out.

Physical Demands of the Job:

• Frequent hand motion with answering and dialing phones.
• Frequent standing for short amounts of time to perform various gatehouse duties.
• Occasional walking to perform lock-outs, assist residents, or other duties as assigned.
• Frequent sitting for long periods of time at desk or workstation.
• Minimal squatting or bending to perform various office duties as assigned.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week
