About the role
As a Courier Specialist, you will be essential in executing the Wonder experience. You will be a leader in our courier organization with a focus on route optimization and inventory management while ensuring great customer experience.
Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
- Lead a team of Dispatchers and couriers, providing guidance, support, and motivation
- Liaise between the senior leadership team and the team members
- Conduct daily team huddles and daily conversations with team members
- Help identify areas for improvement, implementing training programs as needed
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment
Route Planning and Optimization:
- Develop and implement efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and minimize delivery times
- Utilize technology and data analysis tools to optimize courier routes and streamline operations
- Assign team members to zone assignments
Inventory Management:
- Oversee inventory levels and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure an adequate supply of resources (uniforms, helmets, etc.) for couriers
- Implement best practices for inventory control and monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or excesses
Customer Service:
- Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with the customer service team to resolve issues and improve overall service quality
Role Details
- Salary: $24/hour
- Job Location: Hoboken, NJ
- Full Time
- Shift Details: Open availability with work hours that change based on the needs of the business with weekends and nights a must
- Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the US
The experience you have
- 1-2 years of experience in a fast-paced environment as a lead or supervisor
- Dispatch or Customer Service experience preferred
- Experience identifying and solving complex issues
- An eye for detail and a drive for efficiency and accuracy.
- Ability to work as a team member and prioritize tasks.
- Ability to balance competing priorities.
- Strong verbal and written communication
