Courier Driver

Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and responsible individual to join our team as a Courier Driver. As a Courier Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering packages and goods to various locations. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys driving and wants to be part of a dynamic team.

Duties:
- Safely operate a variety of vehicles, including manual transmission cars, box trucks, refrigerated trailers, and tractor-trailers
- Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery of packages
- Load and unload packages and goods from the vehicle
- Verify the accuracy of delivery orders and obtain necessary signatures or proof of delivery
- Communicate with dispatchers and customers regarding any delays or issues
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving
- Perform basic maintenance checks on vehicles and report any mechanical issues

Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred
- Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles
- Familiarity with route driving and navigating using GPS systems
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks such as moving packages in a warehouse setting
