Counter Sales Representative (Temporary) - $20-22/Hr

Express Employment Professional Northland is currently seeking to fill a Temporary Counter Sales Service Representative position in Kansas City, MO. Desirable candidates can work independently and as part of a team, with limited supervision at times, and are highly organized and hardworking.
This is a temporary/contract role through August (up to 4 months).
Basic Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide service to walk-in customers and answer all incoming calls.
• Enter and update customer orders in conjunction with the sales team as received via phone or email while noting special handling requirements.
• Perform weekly cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory on-hand.
• Coordinate mobile inventory counts with sales reps and support personnel.
• Monitor open purchase orders or sales orders to ensure timely shipping.
• Ensure vendor invoices are processed and sent to the accounting department.
• Other assigned tasks.

Requirements:

• Strong in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Previous Customer Service experience required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
