***POSITION AVAILABLE AT ISLA GRANDE AIRPORT****Conduct check-in process for Customers and tag, lift (up to fifty (50) pounds), and handle Customer luggage * Announce flight arrivals, departures, and pre-boarding information * Coordinate various duties with coworkers and other departments to ensure proper handling of Customers * Help prepare aircraft for Customer boarding and departure, which can include light cleaning of seats, seat-pockets, and floor * Assist Customers with special needs, e.g. Customers who need assistance in boarding
High School Diploma * Customer service or sales experience and/previous airline experience, preferred * Valid Driver License and a driving record that meets Vieques Air Link insurance standards * Must be able to acquire and maintain a valid Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) Badge * Pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test * Complete fluency in written and spoken English * Able to work flexible shifts, including holidays and weekends Walking, standing or moving 90 % of the time *Stairs (Customer enplaning/deplaning equipment) * Subject to weather and elevated noise levels * Able to lift, push and pull objects up to (50) pounds *Able to perform under pressure and within fixed time constraints.
