COUNSELING INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY FROM OUTREACH & LOYOLA MARYMOUNT UNIV.
Outreach Concern Inc., in conjunction with Loyola Marymount University (LMU), are seeking Counseling Interns for their new school-based counseling and education project in Los Angeles County.
 Be part of a new pilot program focused on impacting student mental health, social/emotional, and performance issues in K through 8 elementary schools. 
Loyola Marymount University and Outreach Concern Inc. have developed a counselor/teacher intervention model that provides a holistic approach, incorporating students, teachers, and parents, focusing on mental health issues that impact student success, health, and wellness.

Requirements: 
  • Master’s, post-graduate, or Doctoral student in MFT, Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Human Services, or a related field.
  • Be available two days per week for the entire school year during school hours (approx 8:00 am-3:00 pm, M-F).
  • Be available to attend a minimum of two hours per week of clinical supervision for the entire school year.
  • Attend a two-day mandatory orientation and training program to be held in early September.
