Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the Sous Chef, assists with preparation of food in assigned kitchen outlet, ensure a fresh, positive and exciting environment where safety, flawless delivery and execution of product excellence and service are
paramount.
Essential Job Functions:
- Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations and Seminole Tribe of Florida departmental policies and procedures.
- Control the function of their section and assist in contributing to the overall production of the outlet.
- Ensure all menus and food produced in their section is to the standards set down by the management team.
- Recreates recipes, techniques and menu items as directed by Management
- Be part of and conduct on-the-job training sessions with all staff.
- Responsible for daily preparation of all food requirements and daily specials for their section.
- Communicates with the chefs to order proper quantities for following shifts.
- Ensure service is fast, fun, friendly, fresh, and focused.
- Ensure that the above applies in accordance with established standards in respect of preparation, storage, sanitation and general hygiene.
- Conduct regular cleaning within kitchen outlets.
- Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying appropriate managers of concerns and observations.
- Demonstrate actions and behaviors that reinforce the Company’s Mission and Values of Communication, Integrity, Fun, Respect, Accountability, Passion and Dedication.
- Ensure prompt and discreet notification to managers and/or the Ethics Hotline of any observation of illegal acts or internal ethics violations.
- Ensure activities comply with relevant statutory and regulatory requirements, legal demands and professional and ethical standards.
- Comply with all internal policies and procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledgeable in cooking skills including, but not limited to grilling, sauté, sauces, butchering, fish fabrication. Culinary degree and two (2) years similar experience in a high caliber establishment required, Steakhouse experience preferred.
May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke and excessive noise.- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

- The Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced and often crowded and noisy. May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke, excessive noise and constant exposure to general public.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
