Cost & Material Estimator – PSC Industries

PSC Industries is a leader in the die cutting industry. With over 65 years of fabricating experience, PSC Industries converts foam, rubber, fiberglass, adhesives, and other non-metallic materials in North America and Asia. PSC Industries is a privately owned company that serves a variety of markets such as HVAC, Appliance, Automotive, Aerospace, and more.

Job Summary: Provide quotes for manufactured components for multiple commodities. This position will require the Estimator to provide competitive fabrication methods and materials to the manufacturing facilities. Once pricing has been established, the Estimator will create customer facing documentation. Communication skills are a requirement. CAD skills are a plus.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze each quote opportunity.
• Work with supply base for materials.
• Create AutoCAD file for part layout.
• Quote tooling and fixturing for components.
• Establish ideal method for manufacturing based on each facility’s unique processes.
• Communicating daily with internal personnel to complete tasks.
• Working with Office suites products such as Excel and Outlook
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications & Experiences:

• Associates degree or 2-year experience equivalent in Engineering or Manufacturing.
• Proficient in reading and understanding automotive technical drawings and specifications.
• Proficient in math skills including metric and imperial conversion.
• Proficient in Office suites package (Outlook, Excel, and Teams)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills 
• Excellent organizational skills.

Compensation Range: $20-22 per hour (based on experience)
