Cost Estimator/Analyst

We are looking for a Cost Estimator/Analyst to join our Aviation team supporting the Future Long Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA)in Huntsville, AL.

The Cost Estimator/Analyst will develop recommendations for cost estimates and budget activities, inclusive of all program life cycle phases IAW applicable DoD Directives, Army regulations, and policies.

Your day-to-day work will include:

• Develop independent cost analyses, program office estimates, cost analysis requirements descriptions, and analysis of alternatives.
• Perform and provide estimating activities in support of cost/acquisition teams.
• Design-to-Cost reviews and source selection evaluation boards.
• Provide life-cycle cost/design-to-cost analyses, O&S cost reduction analysis, cost risk evaluation, technical risk evaluation, warranty cost effectiveness analysis, cost estimating relationship methodologies, budget preparation support, earned value management, and estimates at completion.
• Analysis of variance reports, and business case analysis
• Develop risk analyses and provide risk assessment for emerging technologies, proposed contract price and contractor cost performance.

At a minimum you should have:

• Bachelor of science degree or higher with 15 years’ experience
• Must be proficient in utilizing the Automated Cost Estimating Integrated Tool (ACEIT).

You will be highly desirable if you have:

• Advanced degree (Masters, or PhD)
