Agoric is an open-source software development company bringing better security and composability to the decentralized financial infrastructure of today. Agoric is built on a JavaScript library of reusable, composable components coded by experienced community members. Our secure JavaScript smart contract platform allows developers to rapidly build secure applications on top of an ever-growing collection of reusable governance, lending, and trading components.
Our engineering team is looking for a senior software engineer/architect to design, implement, and maintain our integration with key technologies, including CometBFT, Cosmos SDK, IBC, Moddable XS, NodeJS, and validator infrastructures. As an ideal candidate, you are a self-starter, a fast learner, and a believer in our mission. You will work with a team of exceptionally talented and experienced developers in other fields.
What You Will Be Doing- Maintain and enhance the integration with Cosmos Interchain Stack: Cosmos SDK, CometBFT, IBC-go
- Lead our integration with Ethereum and other non-Cosmos ecosystems
- Incorporate & adapt message-passing solutions like IBC & GMP into the Agoric stack
- Work with external teams to drive advancements into IBC and other protocols
- Advise and work with partners, customers, and validators as needed to help them succeed at applying the Agoric platform to their business challenges
- Participate in cross-company discussions and planning sessions, providing insight from working with customers and applying our technology to customer challenges
- BS, MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, other relevant disciplines, or equivalent professional experience
- 7+ years in software development
- 3+ years working with Golang
- 1+ years working with the Cosmos Interchain Stack
- Experience working on open-source projects
- Demonstrated interest in decentralized markets, blockchain technology, and smart contracts.
- Working knowledge of high-profile projects and competitive offerings
- Experience with Javascript products
