The successful candidate will work as a Corrosion Mitigation Technician (CMT), working on a team to mitigate and correct corrosion defects on all the Qatar Patriot Sustainment equipment. The CMT will have technical knowledge and experience working with the application of coating processes on military equipment. The CMT will do equipment inspections, identifying and correcting corrosion defects and implementing Corrosion Mitigation actions based on applicable Technical Manuals (TM) and other applicable publications. The CMT will report to the Corrosion Mitigation Lead and work all assignments based on work schedules, methods, customer needs, and policies set by the Qatar Patriot Corrosion Mitigation Lead. The CMT will report directly to the Qatar Patriot Corrosion Mitigation Lead. This position is in Doha Qatar.
Basic Qualifications:
-Industry experience working with and the application of Military Coatings and Specifications; first-hand experience of Military paint systems such as CARC is highly desirable.
-Experience identifying and correcting corrosion
-Demonstrated experience conducting Prevention, Mitigation, Checks and Services (PMCS) on military equipment
-Experience with failure analysis and corrective action activities
-Awareness of NADCAP requirements
-Familiarity with Global Substance materials and concerns.
-Experience with plating and other finishing processes (e.g., thermal spray, Ecoat, powder coat, conformal coating) is preferred.
-Must be a U.S Person

-Demonstrated leadership skills
-Impeccable verbal and written communication skills
-Experience working in a fast-paced work environment with the ability to make sound, timely decisions with limited information
-Ability to adapt to austere and ambiguous environments; function with minimal guidance to meet program goals and customer needs
-Experience and understanding of all functional maintenance and logistics inside a Patriot Depot
-Experience forecasting material requirements for corrosion control
Technically proficient with Microsoft Office and email
-Able to work outdoors in extreme climate conditions with temperatures in excess of 120 degrees
Education Requirement:
Bachelor’s degree or associate Degree with 2 years of related experience or HS Diploma/GED with 4 years of related experience
