Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position performs clinic services functions and essential CBO functions that fall outside of the billing or collections departments.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and process daily Anesthesia charge tickets.
  • Create charge ticket batches daily.
  • Process and log late tickets received from providers.
  • Coordinate and process charge tickets for scanning.
  • Coordinate and process scanned batches of charge tickets into practice management software.
  • Coordinate and process charge tickets for storage.
  • Assist with pulling charge tickets, claim forms and copying for audits.
  • Courier / pickup of tickets from local client locations and post office boxes.
  • Assist with daily mail processing/sorting/delivery.
  • Maintains strictest confidentiality
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Adherence to and compliance with information systems security is everyones responsibility. It is the responsibility of every computer user to: Know and follow Information Systems security policies and procedures. Attend Information Systems security training, when offered. Report information systems security problems.

 

Non-Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Valid state drivers license.

 

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Customer Service Oriented
  • Must display teamwork attitude and good interpersonal skills
  • Must be proficient at learning and utilizing various computer software
  • Must become proficient in using PHI and PPM Connect practice management systems
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Skill in gathering and reporting information
  • At least an intermediate level in MS Word and MS Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with staff, physicians and external customers with limited supervision
  • Must have a pleasant disposition and high tolerance level
  • Willingness and ability to follow direction and/or company policy as directed
  • Must have multi-tasking capabilities
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
Qualifications

Education/Licensing/Certification:

  • High-school graduate or equivalent.
  • Associate or bachelors degree in business administration or related field of study is preferred.
