Correctional Registered Nurse

Correctional Registered Nurse - Los Angeles, CA

• Multiple Registered Nurses needed for various shifts - days, nights or evenings available
• Correctional experience a plus - Willing to accept ED or Psych RN's as well
• Must have 2 years of experience working as a Registered Nurse
• Must have BLS and willing to get Fire Card

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Perform venipuncture and collect laboratory specimens
- Adhere to professional standards, hospital policies, and regulatory guidelines

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety standards
- Proficient in providing compassionate and comprehensive patient care
- Ability to collaborate effectively with doctors and other healthcare professionals
Requirements:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in [state]
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field (preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle emergency situations calmly
