Correctional Registered Nurse

Central Health Management, Inc. is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse with an active and unencumbered license for a PRN role to work 13 week contracts as needed. This is a W2 position and ranges from $40 to $45/hour based upon experience. Both day and night shift is available.

In this role, you will be caring for incarcerated patients in a secure infirmary:

- Provide direct patient care, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patients' needs
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Perform IV insertions and manage IV therapy
- Monitor and interpret patient vital signs and laboratory results
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment options, and preventive measures
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR)
- Adhere to professional standards and regulatory guidelines

```Requirements:```
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Maryland
- Nursing degree from an accredited nursing program
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
- Proficient in performing nursing procedures such as alimenting, suturing, etc.
- Experience in correctional facility is a plus.
- Familiarity with EHR systems
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a diverse patient population
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Will be required to pass an extensive background screen and drug panel prior to starting
