Position Description: Corporate Training Specialist

 

Reporting to the Training Manager, the Corporate Training Specialist will assist with development of adult training programs and materials, deliver programs when appropriate and analyze training outcomes to help improve and manage performance. The Corporate Training Specialist will work collaboratively with program operations? subject matter experts and/or management staff to design and record engaging, self-paced online learning modules using current adult learning techniques and technology..

 

Responsibilities

  • Understand and represent PRITM mission, vision, and values to all internal and external customers
  • Interact with government and private sector clients, partners, and PRITM staff in a professional and accountable manner, and as a representative of PRITM management
  • Engage internal and external clients in appropriate communication that manages client expectations and builds a collaborative relationship with the client
  • Develop and implement strategies for digital marketing campaigns to meet company goals and objectives
  • Proactively manages and coordinates activities to ensure timeliness of deliverables
  • Interact with project team members in order to successfully fulfill contract obligations with the highest quality and in a timely manner meeting PRITM ISO requirements
  • Instills integrity throughout the organization via active participation in ISO requirements including but not limited to timely submission of Corrective Action Plans for all matters in which either PRITM standards and/or corporate contract standards have not been met. Communicating outcomes to team members to ensure a positive, open, environment which mitigates risk and achieves a culture of Continuous Quality Improvement.
  • Collaborate with programs to create storyboards, audio and simulation scripts, self-paced learning modules, job aids, scenarios, learning activities, instructor-led presentations, learning assessments and user guides using sound instructional design theory
  • Understand health and health policy related issues and content to have meaningful discussion with healthcare subject matter experts and other stakeholders
  • Provide support in Web applications, editorial and graphic design services to the department
  • Assisting with the development of presentation materials/curriculum and supporting the 508 and JAWs testing of curriculum efforts on contracts
  • Contribute to business development efforts for new sales and marketing
  • Balancing and prioritizing multiple projects to meet goals, deliverables, and required deadlines established on both internal and external basis
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Engage with program Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop and revise online training courses.
  • Identify the best approach to training requirements including hardware, software, simulations, course assessment and refreshment, computer assisted learning, behavior-based assessment and performance, and team and unit assessment and measurement
  • Prepare training catalogs and course materials
  • May train personnel by conducting formal classroom courses, work-shops, and seminars
  • Assists in the development of remedial training manuals in conjunction with the QA/Training Manager and QA Specialists. The training materials should include reviewing course content, visual charts, videotapes, slides and may include other visuals to impact learning retention
  • Prepares training videotapes and/or films; maintains library of video and film training aids
  • May schedule training sessions within individual training programs ensuring facility setup, audiovisual setup, and employee notification
  • Assess the effectiveness of programs developed and/or administered and provide feedback reports to facilitate continuous quality improvement
  • Perform other duties as assigned
