Corporate Trainer

We are looking for an organized and experienced Business Trainer to join our organization. The trainer will be responsible for evaluating our needs, current practices and creating and delivering a training/ development plan complete with materials, tutorials, instructions, and learning resources such as online modules and guides.

The ideal candidate will have a strong business leadership background, be a confident public speaker and a devoted educator who is up to date on the latest tools and resources needed to improve employee training and performance. The trainer will also be responsible internal tools and training support, coordination, and planning. The primary tools used are MS Office, ClickUp, SharePoint and the LearnDash LMS.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILTIES

• Train Cogent Analytics’ employees and client’s employees on a variety of topics, within a variety of industries and departments as needed.
• Develop a schedule to assess training needs.
• Track and compile collected data.
• Build training materials and manuals based on data and research
• Create, test and review training materials
• Maintain a database of all training materials
• Conduct employee training and onboarding
• Review employee performance and learning
• Coordinate and monitor enrollment, schedules, costs, and equipment
• Complete special projects as needed
• Build testing systems to test skill levels before and after training
• Support internal staff by understanding materials and use of existing tools and resources
• Available to work full-time in corporate office, located in Greensboro, NC

QUALIFICATIONS

• 5 years Business leadership
• Bachelor's degree in education, business, human resources, or related field
• Certification from talent and training associations a plus
• Two (2) years of previous experience as a trainer, corporate training specialist, or related position
• Experience with technologies and best practices for training manuals and teaching platforms
• Strong project management skills with the ability to supervise multiple projects
• Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of staff and management
• Organized and able to manage multiple tasks, priorities, timelines, budgets, and schedules
• Encouraging to team and staff; able to mentor and lead effectively
• Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions
