Job Summary/Objective:
The Corporate Supply Manager is responsible for managing the supply rooms at Corporate Supply, North Campus, MC, and Rod Mill, as well as providing support to all Southwire Supply Rooms as needed. This role will be responsible to ensure the Supply team acts in all matters with Southwire’s core values in mind: Trust, Empowerment, Consistency, and Inclusion.
- Implement strategies to achieve/exceed annual goals and objectives for the Supply team based on the overarching goals as set forth by Supply Chain Leadership.
- Oversee performance/development of Supply team, supervisors and Corporate Supply Buyers
- Prioritize spare parts inventory management and continuously seek cost savings opportunities
- Use and execute tools to promote operational excellence for continuous improvement in areas of safety, service, quality and cost.
- Manage and support Internal Audit requirements concerning policies and procedures.
- Monitor and inform Senior Management relative to vendor performance
- Oversee stock room process for the achievement of all manufacturing and distribution objectives while assisting in SAP PM launches across Southwire’s Wire & Cable enterprise
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate supply. Identify risk from excess inventory.
- Work with the leads, team members, and other members of management in their facility or facilities to oversee that parts and materials are readily available for the production floor.
- Work with Strategic Sourcing, maintenance, suppliers and other departments in order to meet production requirements in a cost-effective manner.

Required
Minimum Education Level: Bachelor's
Specialized Degree: in engineering, business or related field or combination of experience (see below)
Years of Experience: 10+
Field of Expertise: 7+ years supervisory experience in supply room, warehouse, and affiliated spare parts supply chain -
3+ years’ experience procurement of spare parts and MRO - A broad range of management skills with a particular emphasis on leadership, supervision, motivation, communication and planning required - Adept knowledge of SAP in the manufacturing industry with intimate experience in maintenance sourcing and support. On site SAP Maintenance Go Live experience required - Must be proficient in computer skills including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SAP. Must demonstrate ability to create complex excel spreadsheets using advanced formulas.
