SAIC’s Corporate Strategy group works with the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) to define the corporation’s strategic priorities, build actionable strategies that incorporate insights from the competitive environment and market / spend data, and execute detailed action plans that advance progress toward our defined growth plan. The team’s analyses and outputs reach a diverse population ranging from SAIC’s full workforce, program managers, the ELT, the Board of Directors, and the investor community.
Our growing team is seeking to hire a Corporate Strategy Analyst. The successful candidate will contribute to a diverse set of work products in a dynamic, executive-facing environment. Representative responsibilities include supporting enterprise strategy development and implementation through research, synthesis of data, and development of executive-level materials using the MS Office suite. The successful candidate will work closely with leaders across the strategy, corporate development, finance, Innovation Factory teams, and market-facing parts of the company to drive near-term growth in context of long-term strategies while maintaining planning processes and execution governance. This team interacts directly with the company’s most senior leadership on a regular basis, and this role offers the opportunity to grow quickly and develop enterprise-leading skillsets.
Roles and Responsibilities:
· Develop quantitative (data, models) and qualitative (frameworks, presentations) materials for Corporate Strategy efforts and broader business reviews
· Deliver storytelling and presentation skills that contextualize data and drive executive-level discussion and decision-making
· Facilitate brainstorming sessions, develop hypotheses and support data-driven analyses and executive presentation materials that define growth plans, actively engaging with colleagues across the company
· Define and manage actionable implementation roadmaps that enable strategic planning, investment prioritization, and resource alignment
· Assist in developing metrics / milestones that promote a culture of “iterative strategy” within organizations
· Lead and support other ad-hoc strategic planning initiatives as they arise and as directed by the corporate leadership
· Develop executive-level PowerPoint presentations and other written artifacts that require minimal revision
· Shape strategic direction of the Corporate Strategy team itself, recommending analyses that the team will pursue to advance its purpose
- Some administrative duties will be required
PREFERENCE FOR LOCAL CANDIDATES IN THE DMV, BUT WILL CONSIDER REMOTE AS WELL.

Qualifications
· Bachelor of Science in business, engineering, or related field of study
· 4+ years of relevant experience, which should include working with commercial consulting or federally-focused businesses in delivering management consulting skillsets, either directly to a customer or in an internally facing role
· Proven track record of successful establishment and adoption of strategic planning processes, tools, and evolved culture of strategic thinking
· Proven ability to manage complex analyses spanning quantitative and qualitative data, delivering executive-level insights with specific attention to synthesizing trends, and forecasts
· Demonstrated ability to establish and grow corporate relationships among senior leaders
· Proven ability to set guidelines, criteria, and best-in-class competencies for strategy development
· Proven ability to engage with and successfully influence customers, corporate leadership, and industry peers
· Expert proficiency in the use of business software, including Microsoft Office Suite
· Excellent communication, relational, research and analytical skills, and works efficiently and effectively under pressure and within deadlines.
· Exceptional written and oral communication skills, ability and willingness to learn new skillsets.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to build and maintain advanced data models in MS Excel
- A mix of consulting and corporate experience
- Experience sourcing, cleaning, and analyzing Federal budget or spending data
- Experience scoping and executing consulting services in the federal market
- Intellectual curiosity, entrepreneurial thinking, flexibility, and a “one team” collaborative operating style
