During our 10-week internship program, students will have the chance to gain insight into a variety of different cross-functional roles spanning across our global business. If so, come join our Global Strategy team at BIC! We are looking for a go-getter, curious, and business minded Intern for summer 2024. You will get hands-on experience and work on a variety of projects while learning about our business and the CPG industry as a whole!
What You will Do:

• Develop organic growth strategies for various business challenges across the globe
• Identity new opportunities for growth through partnership or M&A
• Present to leadership/ executive members on analysis and key findings
• Work cross-functionally with commercial, supply chain, and finance teams
• Gain an understanding industry trends across all of our categories (Lighter, Stationery, & Shaver)
• Financial & competitor analysis
• Ensure weekly 1:1s, along with regular check-ins, with Strategy team members
• Actively included in weekly Strategy team meetings to provide visibility to his/her work
• Will be connected to a BIC Buddy
• Will work on mid- and end-of-summer report-out to greater Strategy and Business Development team

What We're Looking For In You:

• Currently pursuing Masters in any business related field
  
  • Business, Accounting, Finance, Data Analysis, Strategy, Management, etc.
• Can work remotely, must be within reasonable distance of Shelton, CT to take occasional trips into headquarter
• Knowledge of basic financial accounting required
• 3.0 minimum GPA is required
• Previous internship experience in strategy, marketing, or financial services preferred, but not required
• Problem-solver, Analytically oriented, well organized, able to craft a story from data
• Ability to work in an agile, fast-moving, dynamic environment
• Ability to work during the 10-week program
