SalarySteptoe LLP is seeking a Corporate Senior Paralegal to join either the Washington, DC or New York office. The Corporate Senior Paralegal provides comprehensive support to lawyers in the corporate section of the Transactions and Tax Practice Group for the execution of complex tasks that require significant practice-area expertise. Responsibilities may include drafting and reviewing legal documents for corporate transactions, conducting thorough research and due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and entity formations, and ensuring meticulous record-keeping to maintain compliance with state and federal regulations. Candidate must facilitate seamless client communication, oversee the organization and management of transactions, conduct legal research in the realm of corporate and business law, cultivate expertise in public and private company life cycles, navigate regulatory requirements, and coordinate and organize investor documentation.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved school preferred
- Five years of corporate governance/law firm transactional experience preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
