Job Description: Corporate Safety and Health Manager
A multi-location manufacturer is seeking a Corporate Safety and Health Manager to centralize all health and safety programs at the corporate level. The position is based in Greater Hartford, CT.
The ideal candidate should have a BS/BA, preferably in safety, and at least a year or two of experience in a safety management role. The candidate must be willing to relocate and travel up to 30% of the time, some of which may require overnight stays. The travel will be to New England locations for day trips.
The Corporate Safety and Health Manager will have full control of a multi-location, $1 billion company and will have two direct reports. The salary for this position is $80k to $100k, with a bonus and huge growth potential.
Qualifications:
- BS/BA, preferably in safety
- At least a year or two of experience in a safety management role
- Willingness to relocate
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time, some of which may require overnight stays
- Strong leadership skills
