About The Role

Summary

 

The Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) Supervisor reports directly to the BSA Director and provides day-to-day operational support for a team of EDD investigators. The supervisor supports the BSA/AML Officer in their oversight of the customer risk rating process and the Enhanced Due Diligence team and further participates in the execution of the company's AML Program, as directed by the BSA/AML Officer.

 

This is a Corporate position which may be located at an available bank division location across our eight-state footprint in AZ, CO, ID, MT, NV, UT, WA, or WY. The entry rate for this position is $66,311.82 + / per year (calculated for Kalispell, MT).  

 

All compensation offers are analyzed individually and take into consideration multiple factors including but not limited to geographic location, years of experience, and educational background

 

Description

  • Manages and trains a team of EDD Investigators including hiring, directing job assignments, monitoring staff performance, coaching, counseling, training, disciplining as necessary, assuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational mission, values, policies and work rules. Appraises performance and provides recommendations for staffing needs, staff promotion, and termination, as appropriate.
  • Perform EDD reviews on customers identified as high risk from a financial crime perspective.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining standard procedures to detail the bank's efforts related to your areas of responsibility.
  • Monitor and stay current with BSA/AML and OFAC regulatory, industry developments, and best practices.
  • Assist with projects related to the enhancement of the Bank's customer risk scoring and EDD review process.
  • Assist in the creation of BSA training materials related to areas of responsibility. Provide ongoing, targeted training to direct employees.
  • Support the BSA/AML Officer in regular reporting to leadership teams, committees, and Boards.
  • Support the BSA/AML Officer in gathering documents and responding to requests from internal auditors, examiners, and other evaluators in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Support the BSA/AML Officer and Corporate BSA Department Management in resolving issues, participating in special projects, and strategic initiatives, and other duties, as assigned.
  • Must comply with all company policies and procedures and all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control. Must complete the assigned online training courses and achieve a passing score by due date.

Additional Requirements

Travel

Occasional travel required: (less than 10 days per year) by automobile (as driver and passenger), commercial airlines, rental vehicles and public transportation and be able to lodge in public facilities.
