Overview
The Corporate Engineer will be a member of the Daisy Brand Corporate Engineering Department. The Engineer will provide engineering services to support other Daisy Brand Corporate Engineers, while learning & developing engineering skillsets.
The Corporate Engineer will report directly to either the Corporate Design Engineering Manager, Corporate Project Engineering Manager, or Corporate Controls Engineering Manager.
The Corporate Engineer’s office will be located either in Dallas, TX or Wooster, OH, but they will support projects at the Garland, TX, Casa Grande, AZ, and Wooster, OH Manufacturing Facilities as well.
Responsibilities
The Responsibilities of the Corporate Engineer include, but are not limited to the following:
- Support the preparation of Conceptual & Detailed Engineering Designs for Manufacturing Systems, including Dairy Process Systems, Packaging Systems, Utility Systems, and/or Waste Treatment Systems.
- Support the Engineering Design and Equipment Procurement for Projects, including Capital Expansion Projects, Continuous Improvement Projects, and Innovation Projects
- Support other Corporate Engineers by performing Engineering Studies of Manufacturing Systems, Industry Standards, and Industry Technologies
Skills and Experience Requirements
The Skills and Experience of the Design Engineer should include most of the following:
- 0-3 years working within an Engineering role in the Food & Beverage or Consumer Goods Industry
- Basic AutoCAD skills are preferred.
- Excellent Formal and Informal Communication Skills, Professional Attitude, and Professional Appearance.
- Strong Computer Skills (MS Office)

- Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or similar degree from an accredited college/university
- Open to 50% Travel
