Nobis Rehabilitation Partners, based in Allen, Texas, was founded in 2018. Nobis brings together hospitals, developers and investment partners to develop, operate and manage inpatient rehabilitation hospitals throughout the United States. The Corporate Director of Nursing will work in collaboration with the Chief Operating Officer overseeing inpatient nursing operations and the practice of Nursing across all Nobis managed physical rehabilitation hospitals. As a member of the Corporate Leadership Team, the Corporate Director of Nursing will have the following responsibilities:
- Assesses the status of Nursing practice, conducts quality improvement activities, integrates clinical services, and reviews operating budget and allocation of staff, resources and facilities.
- Develops and assesses systems, process and care standards to define professional Nursing practice to support safe, fiscally sound patient care delivery.
- Strengthens nursing practice to enhance the provision of accessible, timely, efficient, cost effective care by identifying priorities, monitoring and improving outcomes.
- Works with Hospital nursing leaders and Corporate HR Director to recruit and retain a qualified nursing workforce.
- Reviews educational and workforce development strategies designed to support recruitment and retention.
- Identifies, develops and enhances partnerships between Nursing and Therapy, external organization.
- Creates and implements a strategic plan for Nursing that optimizes patient care and quality outcomes, drives productivity, and helps to accomplish business goals across the various Nobis managed hospitals.
- Promotes the use and implementation of technology in the workplace in order to streamline operations, facilitate communication, and optimize work processes.
- Collaborates with other disciplines for the design and implementation of programs, policies, procedures that address how patient care needs of the patient population served are assessed, met and evaluated.
- Ensures patient and family centered care is comprehensive and coordinated and monitored for effectiveness through the quality improvement model that leads to systematic improvements over time resulting in outcomes measures that outperform benchmark statistic of national database used in patient and nursing sensitive indicators.
This position requires 25% travel. Qualifications include: Master degree of Nursing; At least 8- 10 years of experience in a nurse executive role in a hospital environment; inpatient rehabilitation hospital experience a plus.
