Job description

As a Corporate Communications Manager, you will work closely with internal functional partners to ensure the Marketing & Communications team successfully promotes key initiatives, enhances the team member experience and helps proactively manage change within a highly innovative and dynamic company.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to identify internal communications objectives, develop communications plans to achieve those objectives and then drive the day-to-day execution needed to bring those plans to life.

The ideal candidate for this role is a solid writer and communicator who is adept at anticipating needs and committed to providing excellent service for your internal customers.
Success in this role will require you to build and maintain strong relationships with internal customers, functional leaders, your fellow Marketing & Communications team members and key vendor partners.

The role will initially be focused on supporting Lineage's Human Resources team-particularly Total Rewards, Talent & Development and DEI-as well as the Lineage Foundation for Good; however, candidates should expect opportunities to work cross-functionally with partners ranging from IT to project management to finance depending on the needs of the team and business.

This is an exciting growth opportunity for a collaborative, results-driven communicator who is passionate about supporting organizational change, building an inclusive workplace culture and driving strategy to do the same.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Collaborate with key functional group partners to manage organizational change through focus on high-quality, timely communication before, during and after initiatives and projects
  • Develop communications plans to support key initiatives and seamlessly access creative resources - collaborating with our MarComm internal and external creative partners
  • Drive the execution of those communications plans to drive results for your internal partners and the business
  • Analyze and report back on performance of communications campaigns and initiatives to help functional partners assess effectiveness, leverage quantitative feedback and calibrate go forward strategy
  • Become an embedded MarComm partner for assigned functional partners-joining team meetings, aligning own performance metrics (where appropriate) to partner priorities and holding quarterly business reviews
  • Responsibility for written content development, editorial review and guidance for communications campaigns-in collaboration with internal and external partners
  • Drive the development of written and creative assets with internal and/or agency partners to support internal communications campaigns

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • Fast-paced, highly dynamic office setting with periodic travel to support Lineage's network of 400+ cold chain facilities spanning 16 countries.
  • Must be capable of multi-tasking, working independently and communicating with a variety of people and personalities.
  • Hybrid Work Environment: 1-2 office days per week, flexible work from home schedule
  • 10% Travel Requirement

QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES):
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, communications, marketing or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in corporate/internal communications or similar experience-ideally in roles specifically supporting human resources and communicating organizational change
  • Creative thinker and problem solver - who will develop plans, organize stakeholders and drive creative approaches to achieve key organizational goals
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Skilled in writing and editing content with an attention to detail
  • Strong strategic planning, prioritization, organization and project management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and own projects through completion
  • Be a highly motivated, quick-learning self-starter who is comfortable in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment.
