- Provide legal counsel during legal proceedings, administrative board reviews, and litigations when necessary
- Direct the efforts of paralegals, support staff, and outside lawyers hired to assist in case resolution
- Execute, negotiate, create, and modify deals on the clients' behalf
- Guide clients towards best practices in corporate law regulation compliance by providing legal advice on corporate governance, policies, procedures, finances, intellectual property, employment, operations, and regulatory issues
- Draft, review, and modify contracts, government and financial reports, process and procedure policies, and other legal documents as required
Qualifications:
- Requires 3-5 years of experience as a staff attorney or associate attorney for a corporate law firm, an in-house counsel for a corporation, or as a corporate lawyer
- Advance transactional knowledge and understanding of corporate law, securities law, and tax law is vital
- Possess a license to practice law and be a member in good standing of the state bar association
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills are vital
- Bachelor's degree and a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
