Corporate Associate

Class Action Capital (“CAC”) provides settlement claim processing and management services to corporations. CAC specializes in the identification of class action settlement opportunities as well as monitoring, filing, and monetizing commercial class action claims.

As Corporate Associate at Class Action Capital, you will be responsible for overseeing legal strategy and preparing contracts and negotiations. The ideal candidate is a Legal Professional looking for a corporate environment to develop their career within litigation finance and engage in business opportunities.

Workplace Type: Hybrid

Salary: $100-150K + Annual Bonus

• Manage domestic and international litigation finance transactions by drafting and negotiating term sheets, agreements, resolutions, policies, procedures, and other documents
• Make necessary revisions to agreements and negotiation term sheets and on behalf of clients’ requests.
• Analyze and manage any legal issues, minimize legal and operational risks, and support our efforts in ensuring effective and efficient operations and strong client relationships.
• Provide training and explanations on substantive legal topics to team members.
• Coordinate with other departments to help support M&A, business development, financing transactions.
• Assist business development team with structuring and closing transactions by providing strategic guidance and effectively represent Class Action Capital on client-facing/business development activities.
• Coordinate with outside counsel to ensure business objectives are met.
• Ad hoc legal research and analysis on an as needed basis.

• Juris Doctor Degree Required.
• 1-5 years of relevant legal work experience.
• Understanding of class action settlements and litigation funding preferred but not required.
• Excellent interpersonal/people skills, including the ability to build relationships with clients and to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
