Cornea/Refractive - Physician Owned Private Practice - Massachusetts

Wonderful opportunity for a cornea fellowship trained ophthalmologist to join a great team at the leading eye care practice in Western Massachusetts.

At Longwood Eye & LASIK we take pride in offering advanced eye care and modern surgical solutions in a professional and caring environment. Our current provider group consists of 6 MD’s (Cornea/Refractive, glaucoma, oculoplastics, and retina) and 6 OD’s. Each physician is supported by trained technicians and scribes, and the proper assortment of the best new equipment. Our well established, state of the art practice includes multiple locations and two free standing surgeon owned ophthalmology only ASC’s.

We are looking for a BC/BE fellowship trained cornea specialist who is motivated to manage a variety of anterior segment conditions and share in our high volume of cataract and refractive surgery.  The ideal candidate will be personable, ethical, and capable of earning the trust and respect of his/her colleagues, patients, staff, and referral base.

The new associate will share referrals with our current anterior segment surgeons, and participate in the practice’s large volume of cataract cases. Our partners will be happy to serve as colleagues and mentors to ensure the new associate's continued professional development. We are confident that we can guide the proper candidate's rapid growth to join the current partners as among the highest volume surgeons in the industry.

The new position is partnership track (1-2 years) with competitive compensation, including a base salary of $450,000 per year, sign on/relocation bonus, productivity bonus, and excellent benefits package. This offer can be modified to accommodate a 4-day work week, if desired. No “goodwill” payment required to buy-in, and partnership includes ownership opportunities in the medical/surgical practice, two ASC’s, and commercial real estate. We enjoy very substantial proven total partnership income.
