Position: Cornea Specialist
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and treat patients with corneal disorders, with a specific focus on corneal transplants, refractive surgeries, and other advanced cornea procedures.
Perform comprehensive eye examinations utilizing cutting-edge diagnostic technologies to assess corneal conditions.
Collaborate seamlessly with our team of ophthalmologists and optometrists, allowing you to concentrate on your expertise in cornea care.
Provide patient education on corneal conditions, treatment options, and post-operative care.
Participate in continuous professional development to stay abreast of the latest advancements in cornea and anterior segment surgery.
Requirements:
Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
Completion of an ophthalmology residency.
Fellowship training in cornea and external diseases.
Board certification or eligibility in ophthalmology.
Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in the state of South Carolina.
Excellent clinical and surgical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
