Form of workThe primary purpose of the IS Moves Coordinator position is to coordinate the Information Services portion for Institutional or departmental moves and/or relocations. Activities generally pertain to voice and data projects that will affect the Institution from an operational perspective. Responsibilities pertain to the coordination of multiple resources, both internal and external, to facilitate the relocation of individuals, departments, and divisions.
Ideal candidates will have systems planning or project management experience in a healthcare setting
Move Coordination
Directly responsible for planning and the coordination of all institutional moves and relocations of computer, data, and voice equipment in association with these moves. This entails coordination with contractor(s), service provider(s), internal technology support staff, and end user(s).
Work Orders
Create detailed service request/tasks and specifications for all involved IT disciplines to complete the required tasks.
Support
Coordinates technical support between the customer and technology related support services.
Documentation / Status reports
Provide weekly status reports to manager. Ensures project documentation is completed and maintained as the project changes or refines over time.
Other projects as assigned
Assist with other operational projects and initiatives.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Education: Bachelor's Level Degree
Certification: None
Preferred Certification: Project Management Professional (PMP)
Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)
Experience Required: Four years of experience in systems planning or project management in healthcare setting. With preferred degree, two years of related experience is required.
Preferred Experience: With a preferred degree, two (2) years of related experience is required.
