This position is within the Business Development & Communications department, and requires the CRM & Email Marketing Coordinator to have a solid understanding of both the Firm’s business and the technologies used by the team.
- Must become proficient in both InterAction’s Windows and Web version and understand how the information is displayed differently in each interface.
- Master intricate processes, procedures and best practices to ensure the optimal functionality of InterAction and Email Marketing.
- Review the Data-Change Management (DCM) and New Contact Review (NCR) inbox’s on a regular basis, verifying and standardizing contact information for managed contacts before approval to the Firm database collection.
- Enter contact data for attorneys, secretaries and other departments.
- Monitor data quality within the Firm’s CRM to ensure the data is current, accurate, standardized and complete according to the CRM team best practices.
- Merge duplicate records while ensuring data integrity.
- Process undeliverable email addresses and requests to unsubscribe or subscribe.
- Research secondary sources (trade journals, etc.) to pro-actively add and improve the data quality and completeness in the Firm’s CRM.
- Help create and maintain the standards and processes guidelines created for the Firm’s CRM.
- Create, maintain and update lists for mailings, including segmentations.
- Communicate any questions that arise regarding contact information or mailing lists to attorneys and their secretaries, as well as any project/list owners.
- Perform data imports and exports.
- Create RSVP reports, field based reports, and engagement reports.
- Help specialists with implementing and overseeing Firm announcements, thought leadership and event mailings.
- Report on mailing analytics and development recommendations for improved performance.
- Monitor select mailboxes on a regular basis and execute appropriate action.
- Any additional responsibilities as required by management.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong time and project management skills
- Working knowledge of Windows and MS Office.
- Must be comfortable with intense data entry and detail oriented tasks in a technical CRM environment.
- Proficient with Excel and data manipulation.
- Ability to use research tools available through the internet and the Library.
- Previous proofreading experience is a major plus.
- Ability to work independently and multitask.
- Law firm and InterAction/Vuture experience desired.
- Bachelor’s degree
