Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes and quality standards
- Ensure all meals are prepared in a timely manner
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
- Collaborate with the dietary department to plan menus and ensure dietary restrictions are met
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
Experience:
- Previous experience in food service or cooking is preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and meal planning
- Familiarity with restaurant or catering operations
- Understanding of food safety practices and regulations
Skills:
- Strong culinary skills and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Excellent time management skills to ensure meals are prepared on time
- Attention to detail in order to maintain high quality standards
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with others
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with staff and residents
