Job Description: We are seeking a versatile and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Cook / Barback. In this dual role, you will contribute to both our culinary and bar operations. Your primary responsibilities will include food preparation of grilled cheese sandwiches, meat and cheese boards while ensuring the bar is well-stocked and organized. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in both the kitchen and bar areas of a hospitality establishment.

Key Responsibilities:

Cook:

• Manage and cook food orders, including grilled cheese sandwiches and charcuterie boards.
• Follow recipes and culinary techniques to prepare dishes with precision and consistency.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace.
• Ensure food quality and presentation meet our high standards.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient food service.

Barback:

• Assist in restocking the bar, including liquor, beer and wine.
• Restock all paper goods in the bar area.
• Support bartenders in providing excellent customer service

Qualifications:

Cook:

• Previous experience in a kitchen is not required; we will train the right candidate.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is a plus.
• Ability to follow recipes and work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.

Barback:

• Previous barback or hospitality experience is a plus but not required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic bar environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
